"We Are Guardians" Special Screening at the Parkway

Join us for a special screening of the award-winning film We Are Guardians, executive produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, produced by academy award winner Fisher Stevens, and co-directed by Edivan Guajajara, the first Indigenous director to have a film featured on Netflix. One of the protagonists Puyr Tembé, an Indigenous leader from the Brazilian Amazon will be leading a discussion following the film with director Chelsea Greene.

The screening wll be a fundraiser to benefit the film's impact campaign to help Puyr and Edivan's community protect and regenerate their territories in the Amazon Rainforest, and Amazon Watch. To read more about the campaign or to donate directly, go to the following links:
